Right these titles are getting rediculous...
Self Portrait: Series II: Phase IV - Leichenmarsch II - Totentanz
When I was preparing the photoshop source material for Leichenmarsch, I had more than one outcome. This one was initially rejected due to it being not quite what I was looking for at the time... I went back to it after "home..." and thought... "Hmm... y'know this would be quite groovy as a quickie" and it was! Quick that is, only took about 4 hours but I actualy really enjoyed doing this one, everything seemed to gel very early on and for once, I had no tantrums whilst painting it!!!
Oh yeah... Oil on Canvas, 20" x 24"
P.S. - Totentanz means "Dance of Death" and is the title of a symphonic piece composed by Liszt, inspired by the black death...
